Horses of Fire

“Horses of Fire” is my rendition, or perhaps shadow, of an image of the powerful event surrounding the prophet, Elijah, as he’s taken into heaven, witnessed by his successor, Elisha, as described in the Bible in 2 Kings 2:11, “As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.”
